Reimaging Tech in Tairāwhiti
Join Phil Kupenga at Global Entrepreneurship Week, hosted by Taiki e!, as we dive into the exciting world of tech transformation in Tairawhiti! 
In a region grappling with some of the highest deprivation statistics in Aotearoa, we've embarked on a groundbreaking journey to empower our community through tech. Through the Tairawhiti Tech Talent Incubator, we've paved a dynamic pathway from training full-stack web developers remotely to landing high-value tech jobs, both within Tairawhiti and beyond.
But the road to success is never a straight line. We've faced challenges – from funding hurdles to a shortage of local tech employment opportunities. Yet, we've also celebrated victories, including securing partnerships with giants like Arup, a billion-dollar multinational company offering remote internships.
