In recognition of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2013, the Nand & Jeet Khemka Foundation have released a research paper entitled Energizing Livelihoods: Infusion of Renewable Energy in Rural Livelihoods. The paper examines the ways in which the lack of reliable, renewable sources of energy is hindering the social and economic development of rural parts of India.
The paper’s findings and implementation will be discussed during a session of the The Khemka Forum on Social Entrepreneurship entitled Energizing Lives. Over the past five years the Khemka Forum, hosted at the Indian School of Business, has become the preeminent event for social entrepreneurship in India. Read the full report here.
