APEXE Nations Report

The APEXE Nations Report is a groundbreaking initiative launched by Startup Genome in collaboration with the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), ABStartups, and Startup20. APEXE, which stands for "Aptitudes and Policies for Exponential Entrepreneurship," is a data-driven framework designed to measure and compare countries' startup ecosystem potential and effectiveness. The inaugural G20 pilot of this report was unveiled at the G20 Social Summit in Rio de Janeiro, focusing on G20 nations and their startup performances. It establishes a standardized methodology for assessing startup economies at a national scale, examining factors such as talent fostering, access to financial capital, and support infrastructure. The report aims to provide valuable insights for policymakers, entrepreneurs, and investors, highlighting conditions necessary for startups to thrive and drawing attention to actions that can boost startup ecosystems. With plans to expand its coverage and indicators in future editions, the APEXE Nations Report is positioned to become a critical tool for driving economic growth through entrepreneurship, with a full report scheduled for release in 2025.
