Souk Aal Souk

We aim to organize a shopping experience for the LAUers where around 10 stands are set to create
a small market. This market includes only Lebanese products where some of them are run-up by
women entrepreneurs. The total aim of the event is to boost the entrepreneurial spirit in LAUers and
support the Lebanese productive economy. Moreover, we are willing to send invitations to Lebanese
officials such as Amin Salam, minister of economy.

This event is organized by the Entrepreneurship Club, with the collaboration of the Intersectional
Feminist Club, Economics club, and Event Organization Club. We would love to extend the
collaboration doors to the LAU innovation center as well if they are willing to collaborate on this
event.

The invited businesses include several themes, where we will get only one business from each
theme. Consequently, some businesses are startups while others are big operating businesses.
Moreover, we aim to create a sense of the Lebanese heritage and culture in this market, especially in
the week of independence.

The businesses are:

4)thrift shops: curie vintage / fabric aid
5)Lebanese mouneh: beit el baraka
6)Cosmetics: beeseline / cosmaline
7)F&B(mana2eesh): zaatar w zeit/ bliss house
8)Organic juice: Balkis
9) Honey: miriam's apiary
10) bookshop: kitabi / antoine library
11) drawing booth: LAU volunteers that draw on faces with glitter and collect donations for the
Palestinian cause
12)plants: mansour flowers

The collected revenue is divided into the treasury of the clubs and each club is willing to give a
certain percentage of their revenue to the Palestinian cause through the Palestinian NGOs that the
Palestinian club donated to this semester.
