Colombo, Sri Lanka – As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024, Vidaatha proudly hosted the Digital Marketing Workshop: Train-the-Trainer Program on November 25, 2024, at the ICTA Auditorium in Colombo. The event aimed to empower trainers with the tools and knowledge necessary to effectively teach digital marketing strategies to entrepreneurs and businesses.

In today’s fast-paced digital world, effective marketing is essential for business growth. This workshop equipped Vidaatha members with the skills to implement successful digital marketing campaigns, providing them with foundational knowledge and practical insights into key digital marketing strategies such as SEO, content creation, social media marketing, and campaign analytics. Attendees gained essential skills to become digital marketing educators and were empowered to share this knowledge within their communities and organizations.

The Digital Marketing Workshop featured two major sessions:

  1. Digital Tech for Entrepreneurs – Presented by Mr. Gazzarly, this segment explored the role of digital technologies in entrepreneurship, showcasing how digital tools can enhance business strategies and drive growth. Participants learned how to integrate technology into their business models for greater success in today’s competitive market.
  2. Digital Marketing 101 – Facilitated by Mr. Piumal Fernando, this session covered the essentials of digital marketing, including SEO, content creation, and social media marketing. The second part of the workshop focused on the practical aspects of campaign execution, performance analysis, and refining tactics for growth. Attendees left with actionable knowledge to implement and teach digital marketing strategies.

Additionally, a special session on Presentation Skills was conducted by Kasun Tharaka, an expert from ICT Agent of Sri Lanka. This session provided trainers with valuable techniques for presenting digital marketing concepts in an engaging and effective manner. Kasun shared insights on how to capture audience attention, communicate complex ideas clearly, and improve presentation delivery in both small-group settings and large workshops.
