Startup huddle Baghdad - Transportation Startups in Iraq

Transportation has always had a lot of issues in Iraq especially with the absence of public transportation in Iraq, all that increased the needs to find solutions to these issues and for that our theme for this session was transportation startups in Iraq. 

our guest speakers this session are 2 transportation startups that are through their project solving some of the issues that the community is facing. 

The First speaker is Matteo mantovani the managing director of Baly Super App, which is an Iraqi based startup that has been found in 2021 that has achieved a lot in a short time, Rocket internet international is the investing company for Baly also Baly has achieved in this short time an investment of 10.5 million dollar. 

The second speaker is Mohammed Ameen, founder of Transpi, which is the first college student ride-sharing platform in Iraq. TransPi manages the relationship between the captains and students to ensure a perfect daily commute throughout the academic year.
