An Affiliate of the Global Entrepreneurship Network
GEN Iraq
GEN Iraq is the national affiliate of the Global Entrepreneurship Network. GEN began operating in Iraq in October 2017 when it launched a successful business registration project that resulted in a new online single window registration, regulation and reporting portal. Through partnerships with local entrepreneurship ecosystem leaders, GEN's current programs in Iraq include Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) and its signature startup community program – Startup Huddle. GEN Iraq operates GEN Campus Erbil, a startup support and resource hub, and works to strengthen Iraq's startup ecosystem in order to create new jobs, accelerate innovation and drive economic growth. GEN Iraq provides access to the most relevant knowledge, networks, and programs that celebrate, support and connect entrepreneurs and those who champion them.
