During Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), Bangladesh will host Startup Huddle in both Dhaka, the capital city, and in Chittagong, one of the most startup-friendly cities in the country.

Dhaka has been actively hosting Startup Huddle for more than five years, making it one of longest running chapters among hundreds since Huddle was first launched. The former Startup Huddle Dhaka host, Asif Iqbal, led the community for four years before taking on a lecture role at a university in the United Kingdom. Upon his departure, Hasan Ripon took over the initiative and laid the groundwork to expand Startup Huddle to even more cities in Bangladesh.

During GEW in 2022, Somen Kanungo launched Startup Huddle in Chittagong. Somen works with entrepreneurs and students at Superor University while community building full-time with Startup Huddle.

Dhaka will host their next Startup Huddle session during GEW on Tuesday, November 15 at the Daffodil University Polytecnic Institute. For more details about the event or to apply to present, check out the Startup Huddle Dhaka chapter website.
