Startup Inspiration Talk: Dragon Slayers
At this special Inspiration Talk event as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2022, Student Startups at the University of Exeter are delighted to welcome two ‘Dragon Slayer’ entrepreneurs, Tristan Stephenson and Lerryn Clare. Both founders were offered deals on BBC’s Dragon’s Den and went on to raise significant investment for their successful South-West-based businesses. You will have the opportunity to hear about their business journeys and ask your questions.
About our speakers:
Tristan Stephenson – Founder of Whiskey-Me, a whiskey subscription box.
Prior to entering the den Tristan made his name in the hospitality industry as an award-winning bartender, author and co-founder of eight bars across Cornwall, Bristol and London.
Lerryn Clare – Co-Founder of Halto, a swimwear accessory business
With sister and co-founder Lucy, Lerryn entered the den with an innovative accessory designed to solve a huge swimwear pain in the neck (literally!) for women. As serial entrepreneurs Lerryn and Lucy also run coaching business Equinox, focussed on women’s enterprise and female empowerment.
