Startup Inspiration Talk: Starting up in the South West

The Student Startup Inspiration Talks are curated to bring together a diverse line-up of entrepreneurs from across different sectors and at different stages in their journey. Guest speakers Fiona Campbell-Howes and Luke Lang join us to share their experiences and answer your questions about starting a business in the South West.

Fiona Campbell-Howes founded Cornwall-based copywriting agency Radix which works with blue chip companies such as Microsoft, Google and Xerox.

Luke Lang co-founded equity crowdfunding platform Crowdcube with the aim of funding the next generation of change-making businesses. The company has grown from its base in Exeter and is now the UK’s largest equity crowdfunding platform, boasting offices in London and Europe.

Inspiration Talks are open to all in the University of Exeter’s community– students, graduates, staff. You don’t have to be in one of our core programmes to join a talk and it’s a great place to dive in and get a flavour of who we are and what we do.
