'Take The Leap': #GEWUK2022 Winchester Opening Keynote

Join us to open Global Entrepreneurship Week 2022 at the University of Winchester with opening statements from special guests and a keynote from the University of Winchester's Enterprise Officer, Josh Armstrong. The doors shall open at 9am for hot drinks and an opportunity to network with the main event beginning at 9:30am.

Special Guests include:

  • The Right Worshipful the Mayor of Winchester, Councillor Derek Green
  • A Member of the Executive Leadership Team at the University of Winhcetser
  • Chair of the Winchester Student Union 'Launch' Society - Oksana Peskova
  • Awardees of the Delve Further Enterprise Support Fund - Natasha Coe and Luke Allisstone

Our keynote this year shall be taking a look at 'Working as Allies Towards Equality in Entrepreneurship" which shall be given by our Enterprise Officer, Josh Armstrong.

How to Find Us

This event shall take place in the King Charles' Hall in the Guildhall in Winchester. The full address is shown below:

King Charles Hall, Guildhall Winchester, The Broadway, Winchester SO23 9GH

The King Charles Hall can be found as you enter the main doors up the stairs and walk down the corridor and it is the third door on the left. A colleague will be available to check you in before entering the room.

Your data being processed as part of booking onto this event is collected, processed and stored by the University of Winchester Careers and Opportunities Hub and will only be shared with the Estates and Facilities Services team with regards to security for the event. 72 Hours after the event, your data shall be anonymised and used for reporting purposes as part of the event. Any unnecessary data for the reporting process shall be disposed of properly and securely.

We do intend to record and photograph this session. If you do not wish to appear in any photography and filming then please email either the University of Winchester GEW team at gew@winchester.ac.uk or the Enterprise Futures service at enterprisefutures@winchester.ac.uk and we will ensure that the photographer is informed.
