Transformational Entrepreneurship: #GEWUK2023 Winchester Opening Keynote

You are invited to join us as we start our week of events as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2023 with an opening keynote focusing on Transformational Entrepreneurship including special guest speakers such as The Right Worshipful, the Mayor of Winchester, Cllr Angela Clear, and our Head of Innovation and Collaboration, Jo Stark.

Global Entrepreneurship Week is an initiative that is designed to empower and celebrate entrepreneurs no matter their background and works to highlight and break down barriers to entrepreneurship. Celebrated in over 200 countries around the world, we are excited to be part of a global movement and to bring together students, alumni, policymakers and local entrepreneurs to make a difference. We have pulled together a wide array of events this year and we will be talking through these events throughout the day.

How to get to the Event

Head directly to The Stripe (you can find it on this map here) then head upstairs using the stairs or the left, both of which can be found on your Right when you enter the building. Once upstairs, our team will be waiting to welcome you and check you in.

Unfortunately we cannot provide parking for this event. However, you can take the Park and Ride which can drop you at the hospital where the campus is only a short walk away. Or you can get the train into Winchester and the walk from the train station is about 15 minutes.

Once the event is over, we will send you an email asking for your feedback and once this is done we will then delete your data unless you are booked onto another Global Entrepreneurship Week event then in which case your data will be removed after the last event you attend as part of the week.

We will be filming and taking photos of this event. If you do not wish to appear in any of the filming or photography, please email gew@winchester.ac.uk at the earliest opportunity after booking so our videography and photography team can be briefed.
