Eastbourne Youth Radio

Eastbourne Youth Radio (EYR) will be broadcasting for the 15th successive year between18th-20th November on 87.7FM (locally) and globally via www.eyr.org.uk. Students aged 5-19 from over 25 schools and colleges in the area will deliver 55 hours of 'magazine style' programmes supported by more than 40 business and community partners. These already include; Let's Do Business, University of Brighton, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, Square One Financial Planning and Eastbourne Borough Council. The Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner is lead partner for the second year running, supporting Anti-Bullying Week and substance abuse programmes. A number of schools will also run £5 and £10 start-up enterprises as part of GEW activity with profits going to support local charities. EYR is delivered by Eastbourne Education Business Partnership in association with Sussex Downs College.
