Unconference Follow-up - Designing a Youth Entrepreneurship Hub for the Liverpool City Region

Supporting young people to have ideas, grow their talents, and ambitions to build something better for themselves and their local and wider communities takes collective action and follow-through.

This event is about helping co-create a physical Youth Entrepreneurship Hub for the region?!

We want to support many more young people to see entrepreneurship is as a viable path for them, and this event is all about bringing the ideas and discussions from the two events 18th November 2026 and building these into more concrete, actionable plans and steps.

When:

Thursday 19th November 2026, 5.30 pm – 7.45 pm

Where:
Liverpool John Moores University Business Clinic, 15-19 Hardman Street, Liverpool, L1 9AS

Why join in?

  • Learn about the practicalities of supporting young people to be entrepreneurial and to start-up
  • Gain insights of the challenges/issues that young people face with being entrepreneurial and with starting-up
  • Help design what a Youth Entrepreneurship Hub in the LCR can look like and offer
  • Help identify ways forward to create a new solution that can provide a centralised space to support youth entrepreneurship in the LCR
  • Networking opportunities - dedicated time for informal networking with individuals that are helping young people to be entrepreneurial and start-up and young entrepreneurs starting-up/that are running a start-up.  This is a fantastic opportunity to build your network, learn off real-world experiences and help grow the LCRs entrepreneurship eco-system community

Structure:
The event is initially going to build on and discuss the insights/challenges gained from the individuals that support young people to be entrepreneurial and start-up-focused, taken from the Youth Entrepreneurship Unconference the day before.

As well as the feedback taken on board from the young entrepreneurs/guestin the youth-entrepreneurship-focused Entrepreneurs Monthly Meet-up for November the night before.

After discussing the insights/challenges, we are going to collectively design what a Youth Entrepreneurship Hub in the LCR can look like and deliver.  To help support more young people - to learn about and start up commercial or social enterprise initiatives.

We know actions speak louder than words so this event is very much about galvanising those who are already out there in the City Region doing amazing work and bringing in others with the power, leverage and influence to make the Youth Entrepreneurship Hub  a reality vs' just talk.

This event is organised as part of a series of 3 events within Global Entrepreneurship Week 2026, seeking to support youth entrepreneurs in the Liverpool City Region. Thank you to the partners;
