This energising double-hour session forms part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025 and demonstrates how the University of Salford equips its students with real-world enterprise skills. Bringing together expert insights, practical money advice and entrepreneurial finance myth-busting, the session helps participants understand how to fund a start-up, raise investment for growth and manage tax with confidence.

Through collaboration with The Growth Company and successful entrepreneurs, students are given direct access to networks, role models and specialist guidance that build financial capability and confidence. This event exemplifies the University’s commitment to embedding enterprise education and connecting students to external partners so that they can develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to launch and grow their own ventures.
