North East Entrepreneurship Week

The North East of England needs more entrepreneurs to start and scale businesses. Right now, the region has 744 businesses for every 10,000 adults who live here. The average across England is 1,062. 

North East Entrepreneurship Week showcases the entrepreneurs building great businesses in the region to inspire the next generation to follow in their footsteps.

It is a region-wide programme of 20+ events and activities, brought together by the Entrepreneurs’ Forum in partnership with 13 organisations from across the region.

Running between 11 and 20th November, entrepreneurs will share real experience, founders will make new connections and access practical support, schools will meet local role models, and partners from across the region will come together with one simple aim:
to show that the North East is a place where ambitious businesses can start, grow, and rise.

Free to all, activities include flagship events, practical founder support, in-school talks, entrepreneurial awards, and a host of fringe events across the North East of England.
