Scammer Savvy - Looking Beyond the Basics

BIPC North East Start Up Day: 'Scammer Savvy - Looking beyond the Basics'

On the 19th November all Business & IP Centres in the BIPC National Network will be holding their annual Start Up Day - aimed at both pre-start and existing businesses. At BIPC North East, we try to do something extra special for this event and this year we have brought together 4 of our BIPC Experts in Residence to look at how businesses can use emerging tech, such as AI and cashless transactions to run their businesses more effectively, but also looking at how this could potentially open your business up to ever more sophisticated and hi-tech scams, many of which use the same AI and tech that you are trying to harness positively within your business.

Our speakers will take you beyond the basic ‘dos and don’ts’ that are commonly publicised, advise you on how you can keep your business safe and how to react and handle any situation where you might fall victim to a scam or someone looking to extort money from you.

We'll also be telling you how you can get free help and support from BIPC North East to tackle all of these issues.
