The biggest ever StartUp Saturday

The one-day business class is back in London for GEW2017.

If you thought GEW ended on Friday you would be dead wrong. We have a full schedule of exciting events running all weekend and StartUp Saturday is the biggest of them all!

Head to the British Library on Saturday 18 November and join small business expert, author and founder of Enterprise Nation Emma Jones MBE and other aspiring entrepreneurs at this special Global Entrepreneurship Week event to learn how to turn your idea into a business by the time you leave that evening.

"StartUp Saturday classes are fun, friendly and welcoming. You'll have plenty of time to ask questions, meet your classmates and share your experiences on the day and on our website afterwards.”

With participants given the know-how to build a business in just one day, no event better encapsulates the #GEWGo principle of using the platform of GEW to take concrete steps towards starting your own entrepreneurial journey.

During StartUp Saturday you will learn:

  • How to uncover your BIG Idea and research the market
  • Five points to include in a business plan
  • The must-dos: Register the company
  • Protecting your IP
  • Straightforward finance and easy budgeting techniques
  • Set-up tips on office tech, furnishings and fashion!
  • All things web: Building a home online
  • Simple sales roadmap and embracing social media
  • Make some noise! Successful marketing on a budget
  • Team work: How to grow the business without outgrowing the home
  • Happy customers and balanced business: You can achieve it all!
