Upskilling Youth livelihood groups

At Family Concepts Center we envision a society where there is no poverty, no hunger, and people enjoy good health and wellbeing; A society in which women and men are treated equally and fairly, and the weak and vulnerable are propped and protected. Family Concepts Center works with and for children, adolescent girls and boys and women from vulnerable families and communities to address social, cultural, economic and environmental issues that affect their health and well being. Family Concepts Center (FCC) integrates vocational skills training and sexual and reproductive health (SRH) information and services. The Center cuts its niche in increasing access and utilization of SRH information and services among the vulnerable young people. Young people are susceptible to SRH problems owing to socio-cultural and economic barriers to young people's agency. Family Concepts Center's strategy involves increasing access to young people, particularly vulnerable groups, to Vocational education, Life planning skills, and Sexual and Reproductive Health information, particularly HIV prevention. www.facebook.com/familyconceptscenter
