Abdulsalam Alkuwaity

Mr. Abdulsalam Alkuwaity is a serial entrepreneur, who established multiple businesses locally and globally. The founder and Chief Executive Officer of SEA Ventures, a business accelerator and incubator that has enabled more than 15,000 entrepreneurs and supported the growth of more than 600 startups in various promising sectors such as culinary arts, culture, tourism, entertainment, and education and more. Besides his role at SEA Ventures, Mr. Alkuwaity has invested in unlocking potentials within the food and beverages industry by working closely with governmental entities and well-established private firms and founding Takween Foods Company with four main subsidiaries that mainly focusing on innovating new culinary arts concepts, designing unique dining experiences, and providing various catering services as well as creating and delivering educational and enablement programs that targets chefs and Foodpreneurs.

Furthermore, he worked as a consultant for several educational institutions, private and nonprofit and governmental entities with a mission in building the entrepreneurship ecosystem by creating impactful initiatives that supports potential entrepreneurs and promising startups. As an educator of entrepreneurship and innovation, Mr. Alkuwaity is the author of the entrepreneur's booklet (The SET), which focuses on developing the entrepreneurial mindset and the key skills of successful entrepreneurs as well as introducing all the needed tools to start and build startups. Moreover, he has initiated SEED Boot Camp (Serial Entrepreneurs Enabling and Development Boot Camp), which has been announced as the best program for startups in the Arab world by Arabian Business Awards back in 2019.

Abdulsalam attended Babson College where he became one of the first Saudis to obtain a certificate in entrepreneurship as well as a certificate in business strategy from Harvard University and other programs in executive education and business administration from Boise State University.
