Abrham Aberra

Abrham Aberra is a passionate entrepreneur, trainer, and coach who has dedicated his career to empowering youth, women, and enterprises to unlock their full potential. His journey is defined by resilience, purpose, and a deep belief in the transformative power of entrepreneurship and education.

Born and raised in Ethiopia, Abrham developed an early interest in leadership and community development, a passion that carried him through his academic journey. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Wolaita Sodo University with top honors, recognized as the Outstanding Student of the Year and Gold Medalist. He later pursued two Master’s degrees simultaneously in Marketing Management at Hawassa University and Project Planning and Management at YOM Post Graduate College, excelling in both with great distinction. These academic achievements not only reflect his discipline but also his drive to equip himself with the tools to serve communities and businesses with excellence.

Abrham’s professional career is a blend of entrepreneurship, training, and monitoring & evaluation (M&E). He has worked with leading organizations such as Digital Opportunity Trust, Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) Ethiopia, Motive Africa, Small Enterprise Center (SEC), New Age Consulting, and Bank of Abyssinia where he provided Business Development Services (BDS), training, coaching, and advisory support. Through these roles, he has designed and delivered training on Life Skills, Business Skills, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship, reaching thousands of young people, women, and entrepreneurs across Ethiopia.

In his work with EDI Ethiopia, Abrham has played a central role in empowering MSMEs by equipping them with entrepreneurial skills, resilience, and adaptability in dynamic markets. His additional responsibility in Monitoring & Evaluation for the South EDI Team showcases his ability to blend technical rigor with human-centered impact ensuring that program outcomes are not just delivered but also measured, sustained, and continuously improved.

As a Co-Founder and CEO of ENVOY Africa Training and Consultancy Service, Abrham has taken his vision further by creating a platform dedicated to delivering high-quality training, consultancy, and coaching services. ENVOY Africa reflects his belief that entrepreneurship is not just about business creation but about driving social and economic transformation. His consultancy focuses on developing leaders, strengthening SMEs, and enabling sustainable business growth across industries.

Abrham’s expertise also extends to agro-food product development and market adaptability, where he has led feasibility studies, product development initiatives, and export market linkage projects. He has guided businesses in discovering new opportunities, building innovative products, and expanding into local and international markets. His ability to merge strategic planning with hands-on advisory makes him a trusted partner for enterprises seeking growth and sustainability.

Beyond titles and roles, what sets Abrham apart is his personal philosophy. He believes in working smart, leading with integrity, and creating impact through collaboration. His journey is fueled by the conviction that every individual and business has untapped potential and with the right skills, mindset, and support, they can thrive. Today, Abrham continues to deliver training, coaching, and advisory services with unwavering energy and commitment. Whether it is through entrepreneurship development programs, business model innovation, leadership coaching, or M&E-driven program design, he remains dedicated to building a stronger, more inclusive ecosystem for entrepreneurs in Ethiopia and beyond.
