Abidemi Adegoke is a Senior Risk Consultant with approximately four years of experience specializing in internal audit, SOX compliance, and risk management services across multiple industries, including financial services. He has a proven track record of designing and implementing audit plans, preparing audit committee reports, and enhancing control environments to strengthen organizational resilience.

Abidemi collaborates effectively with senior management to implement business strategies that optimize front-to-back-office processes. He is skilled in evaluating controls within complex business operations, including HR, Procurement, Finance, Treasury, and Compliance, with a strong emphasis on regulatory alignment and operational efficiency.

He has successfully delivered over 25 internal and compliance audit engagements across diverse sectors, including multilateral development financial institutions, international commercial banks, capital market operators, oil & gas, telecom, and listed companies in the UK, New York, and the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX). These engagements have enabled organizations to achieve stability and resilience in dynamic business environments.

Abidemi has also led the implementation of enterprise risk management frameworks for multiple organizations, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and international standards such as COSO 2017, ISO 31000, and FATF. His expertise includes developing Risk Appetite Statements and strategies to enhance overall risk governance.

In addition to his professional expertise, Abidemi is passionate about making a difference through community service. As a mentor for Teach For Nigeria 2024, he has guided and inspired young educators to transform education in underserved communities. His commitment to education also extends to his National Youth Service Corps year, where he taught Economics at Egba Comprehensive High School, instilling financial literacy and economic principles in students. For entrepreneurs, he has provided tailored advice on strategic planning, risk management, and operational efficiency to foster sustainable growth.

Abidemi's volunteer efforts also focus on enhancing financial awareness and inclusion. As the Lead Campus Ambassador for Investment One Financial Services, he organized events promoting fintech solutions and increased awareness about the importance of saving and financial planning among students. 

Outside his professional and voluntary pursuits, Abidemi enjoys traveling, reading and cooking.
