ADRIAN with a background of accountancy from the Zambia Centre for Accountancy Studies (ZICAS) in 2009 and a seasoned Chartered Accountant (ACCA), currently pursuing an MBA with the Heriot Watt University. With a combined 14 years of practical experience in the various industries and various positions. This has broadened my scope of work, knowledge base and enhanced my overall experience. My enthusiasm, courteousness and precision are vital for scaling up business and achieving sustainable growth.

Finance Director and Co-founder of Matchbox Mining Limited, it is a very tasking role that requires constant engagement with staff to enhance teamwork and emphasis on consistency in service delivery in order to constantly meet and exceed the clients expectations.

This role has allowed me to identify that, in the service industry, taking care of staff is imperative for quality and we have ensured that they are catered to in the best possible ways. Also, adopted unbossing culture which is transforming middle managers to act more as facilitators who empower employees to take on more responsibility and creating autonomous teams (self-sufficient teams that can communicate with senior staff openly).

Our primary focus this year is to ensure we enhance our cashflows in order to procure more equipment to better our services; take staff for additional training to enhance service delivery; and grow the business, hence the GEC2025 provides huge opportunities for me and our business to learn more and build new global strategic partnerships.
