Ahmed Ningi

Ishaq Ahmed Ningi is currently the Senior Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria on Digital Media and Emergency Management (Office of the Vice President). An accomplished Architect, Disaster Risk Manager, and Security and Media Consultant. He is an alumnus of several prestigious universities and institutes, including Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), the Roman Institute for International Studies, and Baze University, among others, where he earned a range of certificates, diplomas, and degrees.

Currently pursuing a PhD in Public Governance and Leadership at the University of Abuja, Ningi is also a member of various professional bodies. He is a Member of the Association of Counterterrorism and Security Professionals, USA Inc. (ACTSP); a Fellow of the Institute of Disaster Management and Safety Sciences (FDMSS); a Fellow of the Institute of Climate Change Professionals (FCCP); and a Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Entrepreneurs of Nigeria (FISEN), among others. He also holds an Honorary Doctorate in Safety and Security Management from the Protestant University of West Africa, Porto Novo (UPAO).

Ningi brings extensive experience across both the private and public sectors, with notable contributions to the Kaduna and Borno State Governments. His career trajectory includes roles such as Senior Special Assistant on ICT/New Media to the Governor of Borno State and Personal Assistant to Senator Kashim Shettima, who is now the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Ningi’s leadership journey began as a student union leader, and he has consistently demonstrated dedication and competence in every role he has undertaken.

A loyal party stalwart, Ningi has made significant contributions to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in various capacities.
