Alaia Martin

Alaia Martin is a financial systems strategist and the COO and co-founder of Cyphr, a platform that transforms how small businesses and lenders interact with financial data. With an MBA in Finance, Alaia has built her career at the intersection of financial innovation and real-world impact. As a former VP at Citigroup, she led credit risk and forecasting at scale, managing billions and witnessing firsthand the systemic failures that hold underestimated entrepreneurs back.

Raised by entrepreneurs and now raising daughters of her own, Alaia has always been driven by a deep personal mission to rebuild financial systems that work for everyone—not just the few. She brings this mission to life at Cyphr, where she uses her expertise in finance and economics to design tools that empower small business owners and lenders alike to make smarter, more equitable decisions.

Alaia also founded tinyGuru, a financial literacy company aimed at teaching kids as young as five about personal finance, entrepreneurship, and mindset. Under her leadership, tinyGuru partnered with organizations like Girl Scouts and Mattel, scaling its impact and reaching thousands of families.
