ALEJANDRO GUTIERREZ

Alejandro Gutierrez - Managing Partner of GAMMA SIGMA INVESTMENTS – GSI – platform dedicated to transformation and development of business opportunities in financial markets, retail, IT, mobile platforms and foreign markets.

GSI’s overall purpose is generating investment opportunities in alternative assets, both in Colombia and abroad; improving business performance at the same time as promoting the country’s economic development.

Mr. Gutierrez holds a BA in economics from Los Andes University (Bogota, 1996), and is also alumni of Georgetown University & ESADE’s Global Executive MBA (Washington DC, 2015). He has almost twenty years of professional experience in financial markets at local and multinational banks and brokerage firms, such as Bank of America, Royal Bank of Scotland, Banco de Bogotá, Inversionistas de Colombia, among others.

Prior to full-time management of GSI, was Treasury and Capital Markets Vice President at the Scotiabank subsidiary in Colombia (2014). After residing in Washington, D.C. between 2014 and 2015, returned to Colombia at the end of last year and since then, involved in establishing GSI and in seeking new business ventures.
