Alex Ruiz

Alex is a technology and non-profit leader with a wealth of experience in fostering and growing impactful organizations that are tackling big problems. He is passionate about fostering and supporting the Latine Entrepreneurial ecosystem for both entrepreneurs and capital providers. As an entrepreneur he has started organizations in the Mobile, Cybersecurity and AI spaces. In the non-profit space he is an executive at LaFamilia foundation, which has enabled millions of dollars to be invested to entrepreneurs and new fund managers.

As the son of first generation Latine immigrants, Alex has personally lived the struggles faced by Latine entrepreneurs. He has made it his mission to address the lack of access, education and community faced by our community. Alex has been successful in bringing together partners, policy makers and allies on his mission. Through this work, thousands of entrepreneurs and capital providers have been able to get funding, grow their organization and give back to their communities.

Alex has an MBA from Stanford Graduate school of Business, a BA from Pomona College. He has held leaderships roles at Google, Ebay, Transamerica and multiple startups. He is proudly Colombian and resides in California.
