Alexandru Ardelean

Alexandru Ardelean (born in 1978) is Impact Hub Bucharest’s PR Manager. He has over 20 years of experience in journalism and communication, having worked within various media institutions and public relations agencies. He graduated from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu.
During his career, Alexandru has significantly contributed to Agerpres (The Romanian press agency), Time Out, and Magazinul Progresiv (one of the country's leading FMCG and retail magazines). His most notable role was Senior Editor at Biz magazine, a leading business publication in Romania. Over 15 years, he played a crucial role in shaping the magazine's coverage of various fields – retail, industry, health, tourism, lifestyle, culture, and diplomacy.
Before starting Impact Hub Bucharest’s PR Manager, Alex was editor-in-chief of Future Banking, a media platform covering banking, fintech, and digital transformation. He also served as a BTL consultant for InternetCorp, the media publishing house that supports Future Banking.
In 2015, he co-founded and served as editor-in-chief of CSR Report, the first publication dedicated to CSR and sustainability reporting.
Alex also worked in communication at McCann PR and The Public Advisors, collaborating with major national and international companies.
He is a team player who enjoys challenges and thinking creatively. He pays attention to the details that complete the whole. He is always eager to learn new things, meet people, and hear their stories.
