ALEX BABA’S CITATION
Alex Baba is passionate about seeing people succeed in life - spiritually, career-wise and materially.
His vision is to create a network of godly and thriving businesses that would create thousands of
empowered people and millions of jobs.
His excitement is powered by the desire to work with everyday businesspeople, especially the SMEs
who have dreams and aspirations around their businesses but are struggling with making their
businesses survive and grow.
Alex’s first foray after leaving school was to start an ICT company (in partnership) which majored in
Maintenance, Installation and repairs given his background in Computer Engineering from the Federal
University of Technology, Minna. He left after 9 years to Start a Business Development Services
company, Kaldan Investments & SME Services Ltd which focuses on providing Management and
Financial Advisory Services to SMES after completing his MBA from the University of Calabar. In
keeping with the trends in the industry, he purchased a franchise with ActionCOACH International USA
and underwent training to become a certified Business Coach. He is also with another business coaching
platform – Focused.com. He holds several certifications in Customer Service, Marketing, Management
Consulting, Investment Appraisal, and Grant Writing, among others. He is currently studying to be
certified as a Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst with the Corporate Financial Institute, USA.
His work has given him several exposures including being a mentor with the defunct YouWiN program
and an advisor member with Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Advocacy & Support Initiative, among
others. He is currently the National Director of the CRM Enterprise Agency, a Faith Based Organization
that provides training and access to funding for thousands of small and medium businesses across
Nigeria. He is also the FCT State Coordinator of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Empowerment
Network. He is a full member of the International Christian Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) and recipient
of an e-commerce excellence award from the Samzuga Foundation and an award of recognition for
the Association of Arewa Students.
He currently runs Kaldan Investments & SME Services in Nigeria and Kaldan Royal Services FZE in the
UAE. Both offer Business Development Services to SMEs. Alex is a Business Coach and Management
consultant with a focus on SMEs and his skillset includes Business Turnaround, Project Financing, Team
Building and Human Resources Management and Systems Development.
