Amirul Shahnoel Noeh

in the span of about 30 years, he worked in the energy industry after retiring as a naval engineering officer and held a senior government position in defence technology. currently, elected to the brunei innovation lab (bil) as chair and lead the national energy workforce's skills, competency, and capability development. he also served as director of the center of science and technology research development, head of the office of strategy management, and deputy chairman of the royal brunei technical service board of directors. he has been involved in various executive policy development and implementation projects in defence technology, r&d, and strategic projects, including ict and cybersecurity. he managed uk and german shipbuilding projects for nearly a decade. he led the secretariat of the manpower industry steering committee working group (misc wg) for energy and joined brunei shell petroleum's in-country value (icv) team in capability building. energy business academy (eba) coach and mentor as a mechanical engineer and marine engineer, he earned a policy management masters from the lee kuan yew school of public policy, national university of singapore, and is a harvard university, john f. kennedy school of government, lky master fellow. singapore armed forces command and staff college graduate. he is doing a part-time phd at the university of brunei darussalam on technological innovation and the future of work. he has been elected as a fellow and a chartered technologist from the institute of marine engineering, science and technology imarest. he presented, co-authored, and published research in ieee q1 scopus journals.
