Aung Myat Lvin

Myanmar Entrepreneurship Summit 2018 which held in MICC-2, Nay Pi Taw. Dr. Aung is the founder and Managing Director of Oriental Century Travel & Tours, which offers a variety of travel-related services specialized in MICE and Leisure. He is also a Director and Trainer of Trust Tourism Management and Vocational Training Institute.

He received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Dental Medicine (Yangon, Myanmar) in 2010 and worked as a volunteer Dentist at Charity Clinic. Between 2010 and 2011, he founded an Internet Cafe with his friends, where he started learning the nature of business and entrepreneurial life. At the same time, he also worked in his brother IT company and led the sales teams of distribution and promoting the “Pfingo", VOIP call. In 2012, he founded the Oriental Century Travel & Tours with the aim of promoting Myanmar as a top travel destination in Asia and contributing back to society by creating more opportunities and jobs. In late 2015, he initiated his Community-Based Tourism project in Shan State with the support of the British Innovation Facility under UK Aid which he wishes to build up a sustainable tourism site that can support and enrich the lives of the local people and farmers in that area. In 2016, he founded the Trust Tourism Management and Vocational Institute to fulfill the requirement of human capacity in the tourism sector. At the end of 2016, he completed the course of ASEAN Master Trainer for Tour Operation held in Danang, Vietnam. He is taking responsibility for the Leader of Training Development in the Union of Myanmar Travel Association (UMTA).

He is not only active in the business sector but also in the associations such as the Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association (MYEA) and the Union of Myanmar Travel Association (UMTA). Dr. Aung joined the MYEA as an active member in 2014 and was freshly elected as an Executive Committee member of MYEA for the year 2017-2019. He was also appointed as a secretary of the International Relationship committee, which is emphasized promoting the brand and expanding the global network for MYEA. In 2017 October, he was elected as Executive Committee Members for the Union of Myanmar Travel Association (UMTA). Dr. Aung received the ASEAN Youth Award for 2017 at the event of ASEAN Youth day which held in Jarkata, Indonesia.
