Amy Lisek

Over a decade in the field of human services with considerable experience in the field of providing quality services and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Over the years, Amy also held various supervisory positions including managing teams of employees and directly supervising professionals in the field. In the summer of 2024, Amy stepped back from working full-time as a supervisor at Service Inc. of Illinois (case management for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities) in order to focus more fully on her family (3 young children). At the start of 2025, she then started working part-time at Advocate Children’s hospital as a Patient Care Companion helping to support children/teens facing mental health challenges.

Amy also focuses on the charitable organization that she founded in 2020 called Grace in Love, inc. (“Let all that you do be done in love”). During the Covid pandemic, the mental health crisis was at an all-time high and there was a dire need for support and encouragement that could be accessed online. Graceinlove.org is a faith-based platform that offers hope and encouragement to people experiencing difficult times. Grace in Love Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on-mission to encourage others whether it is through the free blogging platform (Graceinlove.org), books/media, or free, encouraging Care Packages that have been delivered to hundreds across the United States. Grace in Love, inc. is 100% volunteer-based at this time. Amy Lisek is also a published author. The book she published ("Grace in Love: Experiencing the Transformational Change of God's Grace") shares her personal story of overcoming life's obstacles and is an inspirational, faith-based approach to personal growth and mindset.
