Andrina Valcent is a St. Lucian Agribusiness Entrepreneur and Chef with over 25 years of culinary experience. Operating from her base in Blanchard Desruisseaux.
She is the founder of Andrina's Kitchen & Andrina's Agro-Farm, where she transforms excess local crops, particularly Breadfruit, Bananas, Macamboo, Plantain into high-value, sustainable products.
Professional Journey
• Culinary Roots: Her journey began in the kitchen where she challenged herself by the demand of her employer to prepare a 3-4 course lunch and dinner for VIP Crew and other Caribbean crew members on a vessel. With her passion for food and growing up in farming with her parents and the opportunity to purchase what ever ingredients she needed to create any dishes she wanted opened her creative mind and she exceeded the challenge with flying colors to be a great professional Chef (she likes to hide behind the curtains).
Utilizing over two decades of cooking experience to into agriculture and food production.
• Agro-Processing: Valcent specializes in harvesting, processing, and creating various items out of local provisions flours. She produces, Pre-cooked waffles, Pancake mix, Tortillas, Bread, Fritters Mix, Adults & Baby Porridge and a variety of herbal teas.
• Hydroponics & Farming: In addition to processing local crops, she runs a small backyard farm with a variety of root crops, beans, mushrooms, vegetables, etc. also utilizes hydroponics to grow fresh vegetables.

• Breadfruit Masterclasses: As an industry leader in St. Lucia, Valcent was the featured speaker in virtual global Breadfruit Masterclasses hosted by the Trees That Feed Foundation, sharing her expertise in product development and local agribusiness with other entrepreneurs.
• Business Development: Valcent's operation has scaled with the support of Trees That Feed Foundation, which provided essential equipment, and the OECS BioSPACE, which assisted with small grants and technical upgrades for her hydroponic and agro-processing equipment.
