ALEX RODRÍGUEZ

Alex Rodríguez Ginorio, DBA, is an Associate Professor at the Inter American University of PR Metropolitan Campus (Inter Metro). He is a marketing and entrepreneurship enthusiast with over 30 years of experience as an educator and over 20 years of experience as a former business owner. His academic studies include a doctorate in mobile marketing from Northcentral University in Arizona, a MBA and a bachelor's degree in business from Inter American University of Puerto Rico (IAUPR).

In 2008, co-founded The Center for the Development of Entrepreneurs (CDE) at Inter Metro. Ten years later, co-founded InterEmprende’s Centers for Entrepreneurs´ network, located through IAUPR’s nine campuses. Since 2009, he has directed the CDE and in 2018, also became an InterEmprende Champion, promoting and developing the entrepreneurial concept at Metro Campus and the University community. As director of the CDE, he founded and served as mentor of the Entrepreneurial Student Association (in Spanish EEE), and the International Entrepreneurship Association [IEA].
In 2020, he integrated the EEE and IEA into the InterEmprende Metro Estudiantil student association. For over 16 years, Dr. Rodriguez Ginorio, together with Metro students, IAUPR professors, and PR entrepreneurship ecosystem members collaboration has organized and executed over 1,520 professional entrepreneurship-oriented activities, projects, and events impacting over 1.3 million persons. He collaborates in the improvement of the IAUPR Entrepreneurship Program. His vision and disruptive philosophy ECD (EMPOWER-CONNECT-DISCOVER) to transform and develop young individuals’ mindset into collective entrepreneurship-oriented teams, promotes 100% engagement among students.
