Ashley Sims

Hi, my name is Ashley Sims. I currently work full-time as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Marian University during the school year. I teach Principles of Marketing, Foundations of Entrepreneurship, Real Estate, Event Planning & Management, and a Business Plan Implementation course. I have been an entrepreneur basically my entire life, though. I started a performing arts academy after graduating from Marian with my undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Instrumental Performance, and I continue to operate that part-time. I am currently in the process of activating my real estate license, which is currently in referral status with F.C. Tucker. A current student of mine and I are working together on a business plan to open a coffee trailer in 2026 with the goal of using profits to fund different missions and charities. Finally, I'm also working on writing a book and then creating a brand and community around that. I always have other side gigs and projects related to all of the above. I love the hustle. It's deep in my blood. At home, I am homeschooling my two girls. I hope that they will one day be able to join me in something I do, or make a new path on their own. I absolutely love networking and connecting people. I hope that the conference allows me to do just that as well as learn.
