Armando Viteri: AI Visionary and Investor

Armando Viteri is a pioneering figure in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). He has been involved in the AI industry for decades, witnessing its evolution from the early days of symbolic AI to the current advancements in large language models and generative AI. Viteri's background is in computer science, and he was part of the first wave of AI as a Lisp programmer. He started in the symbolic area and has seen the various heights and falls of AI over the years. His company started investing into AI development some seven years ago upon deciding the latest generation of machine learning was going to yield unprecedented results. Then came Large Language Models serving to prove the prediction correct.

As the President and CEO of Neubloc, a generative AI strategic consulting and implementation company, Mr. Viteri is now helping companies implement AI into their business strategies -- with the objective of becoming AI-at-the-core organizations. He believes that if companies invest in AI early on, they will not only survive but thrive in the rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Prior to Neubloc, Mr. Viteri has been involved in a number of technology startups -- notably Sun Microsystems in its early days.

Mr. Viteri holds a BSEE from MIT. He is active on a number of nonprofit boards both in the arts and technology
