Graduated from Davidson College majoring in Economics and German and minoring in Applied Mathematics.
She obtained an MBA degree from Harvard Business School and received later also the CFA Certification.
Aylin Somersan-Coqui started her professional career in 1998 at Morgan Stanley New York as Investment Banker.
In 2003 she joined Allianz Global Investors (AGI) in Munich as Executive Assistant to the CEO.
From 2005 to 2010 she joined PIMCO Europe Limited as the Co-Head of Swiss Business, Senior Vice President and Account Manager.
She joined Allianz SE from 2010 until December 2012 as Executive Vice President and Co-Head of Chairman’s Office, Group Center Head in Munich.
Aylin Somersan-Coqui joined Allianz Turkey in January 2013 as Chief Financial Officer until December 2015.
As of January 2016, she is appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Turkey.
