Bernardo Ramos

Bernardo (Bernie) is a managing director and National Hispanic Segment Leader in Wells Fargo Commercial Banking.

Bernie joined Wells Fargo in May 2007 from Bank of America. In his current
role, Bernie works with the pod leaders and relationship teams across Commercial Banking to become the bank of choice for Hispanic owned and led businesses across the Wells Fargo footprint.

Prior to his current role, Bernie led a team of relationship managers covering Local Government clients along the East Coast region.
He also served as the Market Executive for the New York Government Banking relationship team.

Bernie also served as the RM for The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Before joining the Wells Fargo team, at Bank of America he served as a Market Executive for the New York and New England Government banking teams. He also served in several project management and operational roles.

Bernie has received various awards including the Capital Region YMCA
Black & Latino Achiever Award and the NYC ASPIRA Latino Achiever award.
In addition, he is a recipient of the Golden Spoke award at Wells Fargo.

Bernie served as the Vice President for the Enterprise Hispanic/Latino Employee Resource Network and is an Executive Advisor for the NYC Chapter. He has also served on various boards including Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless, Senior Services of Albany and Latino Dollars for Scholars. He is also an active mentor within and outside of Wells Fargo that includes mentoring business students at his alma mater on projects designed to assist targeted small businesses in Central and South America. Bernie is involved with the YMCA Black & Latino Achievers Program and serves on the New York Advisory Council for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.

Bernie earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the
University of Buffalo. He is fluent in Spanish and based in New York. He resides in Albany, NY.
