William Leahy

William started his carrier in marketing with Capitol Records after graduating from the University of Texas, Austin. Starting his first business in 1984 as an importer selling to Walmart,K-mart, Target, and other well known retailers he build a product development firm that grew dramatically As a product designer Mr. Leahy created numerous product lines in several product categories for retailers nationally. Leahy Global Resources Inc. client list includes Dillard's, Macy's and Supervalu with over 2,400 grocery stores nationally in the USA. William's extensive sourcing experience after Forty-seven trips to Asia and several to Europe as director of sourcing for his import firm has created a wealth of international negotiating and business development experience. Mr. Leahy Co-founded Accessory City Stores a chain of women's fashion accessory mega stores which merged with another retailer in 2011.

Mr. Leahy recently purchased Realestate in Medelline is setting up an office in Medelline later this year fully believing in the spirit and energy of the area. Mr. Leahy's firm is seeking young companies and entrepreneurs to mentor and join forces with in South America and in some cases to invest in. William has donated a great deal of time as a member of Ft. Worth Rotery, developing mission programs for Cambodian orphanages, and mentoring prisoners through (PEP) Prison Entrepreneurship Program www.pep.org.
