Erin Parks

My name is Erin, and I am a dedicated single mother striving to become a successful entrepreneur. Born and raised the first 13 years of my life in Indianola, MS, and residing in Tennessee for over 30 years currently, I have always valued hard work as fundamental pillars of a successful life. Despite facing numerous challenges as a single parent, I have remained resilient and determined at beating the odds.

After being forced to leave my brick and mortar position to care for my child and enroll in home school, I found myself unexpectedly becoming the sole provider for my child over the years. Adjusting to the changes in my life, maintaining household responsibilities, and parenting has been demanding, but through the support of a loving family, careful budgeting and unwavering dedication, I have managed to provide at least the basic needs.

I am committed to my vision of becoming a successful entrepreneur and building generational wealth. However, the financial strain of being a single parent often limits our ability to pursue those visions and aspirations in order to change our circumstances.

Receiving this grant would significantly alleviate some of the financial burdens we face and enable me to pursue my business endeavors and overall well-being. With your support, I am confident that I can finally execute my business ideas and hit the ground running, setting a positive example and creating a stable foundation for my child.
