Professor Christian Butzke is an award-winning entrepreneurial faculty member at Purdue University, the 4th most innovative university in the United States, and serves as Purdue’s first SUFIE, its Senior University Fellow for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, leading systematic research commercialization efforts under its Office of Research. In this nationally novel strategic role, the Senior University Fellow for Innovation & Entrepreneurship leads faculty teams of seasoned collegiate I&E Fellows and departmental I&E Ambassadors across the university system of more than 2,000 professors and their research programs, to foster a new academic culture of accelerated innovation and entrepreneurship that can elevate the societal impact of our use-inspired research.
