Caleb Kioko

Caleb Kioko is a social entrepreneur and the CEO/CTO of Ona AI, where he is leading the development of inclusive, generative AI-powered solutions that make education and digital access possible for people with disabilities. With a strong focus on education technology and the Sustainable Development Goals, Caleb has spent years intentionally building a rare blend of deep technical expertise and community-rooted problem-solving skills.

His leadership spans across sectors vital to Africa’s future, having co-founded and led ventures in healthcare access, e-mobility, and clean water technologies across Sub-Saharan Africa. Caleb’s work has earned international recognition, including being named one of the Top 100 Global Researchers by the 2024 Prototypes for Humanity Challenge in Dubai and a 2025 Dalai Lama Fellow. He has presented his work at global forums such as Northwestern University in the U.S., Lucerne Business School in Switzerland, and represented Africa at the international HSBC Business Case Competition, among others.

In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Caleb has collaborated with organizations like GIZ and UNESCO, contributing to policy negotiations and development strategies in areas including digital access, sustainability, and inclusive education.
