Cama Women Plumbers Network Limited was founded with a vision to bring women into the plumbing sector, an industry that has long been dominated by men. Our journey began with the simple goal of reselling plumbing materials to the community, but as we identified the challenges women faced in entering this male-dominated field, we decided to create a space that would provide women with the tools, training, and opportunities they needed to succeed.

In our early years, we focused primarily on plumbing material reselling and quickly identified a gap in the market for quality, affordable, and accessible plumbing services. This led us to expand our offerings into full-service plumbing solutions for both residential and commercial properties. We became a driving force for women’s empowerment in the sector, introducing practical and hands-on training for women interested in joining the plumbing profession.

Over the years, we have grown to become a recognized leader in the plumbing industry, not only for our exceptional plumbing services but also for our transformative approach to empowering women in the trade. Today, we continue to invest in the personal and professional growth of our staff, providing them with opportunities for skill development and career advancement. We have successfully completed numerous high-profile projects across Uganda, solidifying our reputation as a trusted and reliable plumbing service provider.

WHY WOMEN IN PLUMBING
Plumbing has traditionally been a male- dominated industry. At Cama Women Plumbers Network, we saw this as an opportunity not a limitation. Women bring a natural sense of precision, cleanliness, design sensitivity, and care to their work.
Their deep concern for sanitation and hygiene, patience, and attention to detail makes them uniquely suited for this profession. We entered this space to break stereotypes and create space for women to be recognized, empowered, and celebrated in technical fields.

Our Vision
Our vision is to become the leading women-led plumbing network in Uganda and beyond, creating an industry that is inclusive, diverse, and driven by innovation. We aim to empower women across Africa by providing them with the knowledge, resources, and mentorship needed to succeed in the construction and plumbing fields.
“Built by a woman trusted by all!” 5

Our Mission
To provide exceptional, reliable, and innovative plumbing services while empowering women to become leaders and change-makers in the plumbing industry. Through education, mentorship, and professional development, we aim to create a sustainale impact on the communities we serve.

At Cama Women Plumbers Network Limited, we are more than just plumbers we are trailblazers
committed to making a lasting difference in Uganda’s construction and plumbing sectors.

CORE VALUES
Integrity: We uphold honesty and strong moral principles in all our work.
Equality: We champion inclusivity and fair opportunities for all women in the plumbing and construction industry.
Professionalism: We deliver high-quality services with expertise and commitment.
Community Engagement: We actively contribute to and uplift the communities we serve.

Mentoring Experience
I have over four years of mentorship experience supporting young women and youth pursuing careers in plumbing, water systems installation, and small enterprise development. As the Founder of Cama Women Plumbers Network, I mentor early-stage plumbers through hands-on skills guidance, mindset development, and enterprise readiness. I have also provided mentorship to students of St. Joseph Kamuli Vocational Institute through SENDEA Uganda, where I supported female trainees to build confidence, apply practical plumbing competencies, and prepare for workplace opportunities. My mentorship approach focuses on technical excellence, professional ethics, safety, and entrepreneurship, helping trainees transition from training to real-world service delivery. I continue to mentor young women across Uganda through community programs and partnerships in the WASH and skills-development ecosystem.
