Carlo Angeles
Bio
Carlo Angeles, is Executive Director of the Somos el Presente Organization, an organization that seeks to empower young people to address sustainable development. He has worked involving young people in policy design and implementation processes in Peru, Colombia and Argentina.
He is a member of Policy & Strategy Group of World We Want 2015, the platform between the United Nations and Civil Society. He was also a member of the Committee of Selection of Representatives of Civil Society at the Summit Adopting the Post 2015 Development Agenda, one of the most important in the history of the United Nations. Somos Presente was the only Peruvian organization to be granted special accreditation to participate in the United Nations Post 2015 Agenda Adoption Summit.
He has been invited as panelist at the Annual Governors Board of the World Bank / International Monetary Fund - Lima, II Ibero-American Congress on Public Innovation - Tenerife Spain, Open Goverment Partnership Global Summit - Mexico, TEDxGrau, Habitat III - Quito, COY 10 - Lima, 10th WTO Minsiterial Conference in Nairobi , among others.
He was invited by the Government of the Netherlands and Hope XXL Foundation to draft the Liemers List at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, which was presented at the General Assembly of the United Nations in 2015.
He is the author of the "Youth to 2016" document, which was drafted with institutional support from the United Nations Millennium Campaign, Concordia Summit and My World 2015.
In addition, he was invited as judge for TIC Americas 2016/2017, the competition for innovation and youth entrepreneurship organized by the Organization of American States and the Young Americas Business Trust, which distributes more than 150,000 dollars in prizes.
Carlo Angeles holds a degree from San Ignacio de Loyola University and has received specialization training at the University of Cologne - Germany and at Harvard University.
In 2011, he designed the Digital Marketing methodology TodosGanan.net, which was presented to Google, the co-creator of Twitter, Evan Henshaw Platt and various international companies. He has written articles for MindThis.ca magazine, he has experience in Human Resources and has been a consultant for the Launching of the New Models of Global Cooperation Design Program with a $ 5 million budget from the Global Challenges Foundation based in Sweden.
He is Advisory Board Member of SISE University.
