Carlos Moll

Greetings, I am Professor Carlos A. Moll Cruz. I consider education as a vehicle that helps us achieve our professional and therefore personal goals, so I have made some investments in that area. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, with a concentration in Psychology from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. Additionally, I have completed two master's degrees: the first in Public Administration with a specialization in Program Administration from the University of Puerto Rico, and the second from the University of Phoenix; a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing. Furthermore, I have completed 33 credits towards a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix.

My professional journey began about 25 years ago, closely tied to my academic background. My initial work experiences were in public administration as the Human Resources Representative for the Municipality of Quebradillas, Puerto Rico. I then moved to the University of Puerto Rico, Arecibo Campus, where I held positions as Coordinator and Director of the Department of Continuing Education. This experience in higher education profoundly influenced my life. Subsequently, an opportunity arose in the private sector within the healthcare industry, where La Cruz Azul de Puerto Rico hired me as Assistant Manager for the northern region of Puerto Rico. Four years later, I returned to the university environment to take on leadership roles such as Admissions Manager and Corporate Development Manager for the University of Phoenix, Campus Director of Manatí for Dewey University, and Director of University Residences at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón. During this period, I ventured into entrepreneurship by founding Innova Consulting Partners, LLC and Paellas & Paellos. Additionally, I have taught graduate-level courses in leadership, management, and marketing at the University of Phoenix, as well as courses in business, digital marketing, and business regulations at NUC University – Online Division. Additionally, I offer courses related to the different stages of entrepreneurial development at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón. I consider myself a facilitator in the teaching and learning process, and I view the classroom as the perfect environment to conceptualize, create, make mistakes, and learn from them, as this is part of our human nature. I believe that effective and efficient communication, synchronously and/or asynchronously using available technology, is crucial for achieving academic success.
