Celia Collymore

Celia Collymore is a fun loving, versatile and tenacious individual who is very passionate and purposed to help entrepreneurs and business professionals become consistent, live in harmony and develop a fit mindset in their personal and professional lives.  Celia is the Founder and Senior Project Manager of Bajan Fusion, a Fitness Lifestyle Service, helping people Get Fit For Life, through engaging events that fuse entertainment, education and excitement. She is a Professional with 20+ years of knowledge, skills and experience in Human Resources, a Certified TVET Trainer and Assessor, FIBA Certified Level 1 Basketball Coach and a Fitness Trainer. Celia is currently a Facilitator for the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment. A Former National Basketball Champion, the holder of a Master’s in Public Administration (2005) and Bachelor’s in Business Administration (2001) from Pace University and an Associate Degree in Accounting and Politics & Government from the Barbados Community College (1998).  In 1998, Celia was awarded a Basketball Scholarship to Pace University’s Women’s Basketball Team (NCAA Division II) in New York and served as Co-Captain in her senior year in 2001. Pace University won the 2001 NE- 10 Regional Championship and were Elite-8 Participants.  Celia was employed for six (6) years in the Talent Strategy Division of BNY Mellon, a Global Investment and Management Company in roles -  HR Administrator and Recruiter. Celia is an avid cyclist, loves music, cuisine, reading and meeting new people. As she puts it, “Everyone needs to live a balanced life and stay emotionally, physically, financially, mentally and spiritually fit”. Celia encourages people to get in the game and to pursue the strengths and joys of their lives. As her favourite quote goes – “You have to be in it, to win it”.
