Tanvir Tabassum

Hi, I’m Tanvir Tabassum, a founder, engineer, and global traveler creating AI startups in different countries.

My journey began in Bangladesh, where I developed a strong curiosity about how things worked, especially in technology. This curiosity led me to Germany, where I studied Electrical Engineering and IT. My university years were not just about textbooks and exams; they provided exposure to new technologies, fresh ways of thinking, and a structured engineering mindset.

While in Germany, I had the opportunity to work for two industry leaders, Continental Automotive and Airbus. At Continental, I worked on next-generation automotive systems and learned how large-scale engineering processes operate in the real world. At Airbus, I explored high-tech aerospace and gained a greater appreciation for precision, performance, and reliability. These experiences greatly influenced my approach to building scalable and efficient technology systems today.

However, I always wanted to create something of my own. After returning to Bangladesh, I took the leap and started my first company, Sigmind. We focused on computer vision-based AI algorithms, such as face detection, person tracking, and license plate recognition. This was not just an academic project. Our solutions were used in real scenarios and eventually attracted the attention of the Government of Bangladesh, which acquired the company to support its national AI infrastructure.

This exit boosted my confidence and gave me clarity to think even bigger.
Building in South Korea: Lynkeus AI

In 2021, I moved to South Korea, a country I’ve come to love and consider a second home. There, I founded Lynkeus AI, a startup focused on improving AI model performance, especially for computer vision applications. We developed tools that enabled companies to run their models faster, smoother, and more cost-effectively. By 2025, Lynkeus AI became profitable, with a growing list of customers from various industries.

Along the way, I learned Korean, adding to the German and English I already spoke. This helped me build deeper relationships in each market I’ve worked in.
Recognition & Awards

Throughout my journey, I’ve had the chance to represent my startups on several global stages, including:

- Entrepreneurship World Cup 2019 in Saudi Arabia, where I was one of the global winners.
- K-Startup Grand Challenge, a prestigious six-month fully funded accelerator supported by the Korean government.
- APICTA Awards in Vietnam, known as the top tech honors in the Asia-Pacific.
- Skolkovo Startup Village in Russia, where I presented our work to a global tech audience.

These experiences provided me with a global perspective and taught me how to communicate and succeed in different markets.
What I’m Building Now

Currently, I’m developing Craftr, a creative ad marketplace where brands can license ready-to-use, high-performing ad content created by AI-native designers. My goal is to make ad creativity more accessible and scalable, particularly for smaller brands that require performance-driven content without the cost of a full creative team.

I’ve been fortunate to live and work in Germany, Bangladesh, and South Korea. Each chapter of my life has taught me valuable lessons about people, technology, and business. Now, I’m focused on building something that merges creativity with automation to make growth easier for the next generation of brands.
