Chamod Manithya

Chamod Manithya is a self-driven entrepreneur and marketing strategist who blends design thinking, technology, and business acumen to help brands scale in a digital-first world. With a sharp eye for brand-building and a relentless commitment to progress, he is on a mission to create, grow, and lead companies that make a meaningful impact.

His journey into entrepreneurship started at 19 when he launched Hokuza, a business born from the vision of empowering brands through digital innovation. With no formal startup ecosystem or capital behind him, Chamod bootstrapped his way from a one-person operation into a multi-divisional company offering digital strategy, social media growth, and business development services to clients both locally and globally.

Before stepping into business, Chamod was a decorated school athlete and sports leader, representing and leading his school in divisional and zonal championships. His early years taught him grit, discipline, and the value of strategic thinking under pressure qualities that now shape how he builds companies and leads people.

Despite facing setbacks, including a major academic pivot and a serious illness that temporarily halted his first company, Chamod turned adversity into fuel. During recovery, he immersed himself in learning, gained certifications in entrepreneurship, marketing, and advanced software development, and returned with a stronger vision: to help Sri Lankan businesses compete on the global stage using modern digital tools.

Today, as the Founder & CEO of Hokuza, Chamod helps brands and businesses grow through performance-driven strategies, creative marketing, and business transformation consulting. His expertise spans digital marketing, brand positioning, strategic planning, and platform-specific advertising on channels like Meta and LinkedIn.

Chamod is currently focused on scaling Hokuza’s creative and consulting services while incubating new ideas that intersect technology and business growth. He also contributes to Sri Lanka’s startup ecosystem by mentoring early-stage founders and helping them go from idea to execution.
