Tom Wilson

My life began with adversity. I was born prematurely with an immunological disorder, so from the outset my health was fragile. I required a blood exchange early in life, and for years my physiology reacted poorly to alcohol—something I eventually learned to eliminate entirely by my late teens.

Before I had the chance to fully stabilize my health, I suffered a serious cervical spine injury (whiplash) during adolescence. That injury became the defining physical challenge of my life, triggering a cascade of biomechanical problems that forced me—not by choice, but by necessity—to learn how to correct my own body. I am still refining that work today.

Alongside these physical challenges, I was always ambitious. As a young adolescent, I was placed in special education, but I was determined to transition into a standard academic setting. In Grade 7, through sheer determination, discipline, and persistence, I made that transition. My academic success did not come from exceptional intelligence alone, but from what I would call white-knuckled discipline. I consistently ranked among the top students, not by talent, but by will.

Discipline, as I understand it, is not mere self-control—it includes instruction, accountability, humility, and correction. Wisdom, likewise, is knowing how to pursue goals without arrogance, ensuring that goals themselves are meaningful before they are ever set.

High school and college were socially challenging for me, and I remained somewhat introverted. Soccer became one of my few physical outlets, and I enjoyed occasional pickup games, though my neck injury prevented me from ever reaching higher athletic levels. From approximately age eleven through college, I was under the care of an excellent Gonstead chiropractor who maintained me well. While he did not practice Chiropractic Biophysics, I speak highly of the Gonstead system, which remains a gold standard in structural chiropractic care.

Chiropractic Biophysics branch of Chiropractic began developing in the early 1970s, notably through figures such as the inventory of the Petibon Strap: Burl Pettibon and Dr. Harrison (father of Dr. Deed Harrison). Pettibon focused on corrective concepts, while Deed Harrison advanced the field through engineered rigging systems. However, in the 21st century, through my own discoveries—driven by necessity rather than academia—I developed methods that surpassed existing approaches for specific structural problems.

Rather than relying on static or isotonic rigging systems, I developed dynamic mounting systems that leverage gravity and motion more effectively. I engineered weight-based mechanisms to isolate the trunk-neck interface, allowing what I call variable or “shirt” bracing. I also designed geared systems to correct scapular winging, a condition I successfully treated in myself.

Some of my self-applied biophysical corrections were so effective that I reversed a thoracic vertebral fracture using variable bracing combined with gravity-assisted counter-rotation techniques. This included the strategic use of a cane to amplify gravitational forces through the lower hip and leg, transmitting corrective circumrotational flow upward. I also developed advanced manual techniques using tools such as canes and blades to resolve subluxations. My system is unconventional, but highly sophisticated.

I continue to correct my kyphosis; it is no longer classified as Scheuermann’s Kyphosis but has been reduced to a postural form.

Beyond chiropractic, I write music and outsource recording while retaining full publishing rights. I aim to connect my music with brands and influencers, particularly within the WWE ecosystem. I am also interested in launching SaaS businesses, mastering automation tools such as n8n, and participating in ventures where scalable capital and innovation intersect. I have product ideas ranging from nutrient-dense watermelon gummies to large-scale digital platforms intended as alternatives to Facebook and Instagram.

In chiropractic, my long-term vision includes establishing a chain of clinics that integrate my biophysical system alongside the Gonstead method. I have even explored unconventional avenues—such as petitioning Buckingham Palace—to obtain Diplomatic Immunity, reflecting the seriousness with which I regard its value.

In all areas—health, intellect, creativity, and enterprise—my life has been defined not by ease, but by persistence, adaptation, and the refusal to remain limited by early conditions.
