Chizoba Michelle Uzoukwu

Chizoba has over the years shown so much drive in achieving the United Nations' sustainable development goal four through her NGO called URL Project (Urban-Rural Literacy Project) with a mandate to reduce the level of literacy limitation among children, teenagers and young adults by at least 20% by the year 2030. She was recently appointed the programs manager for Nirmala Chellarams Centre for Entrepreneurship skills, University of Lagos where she has impacted over two thousand youths through the focus of Learning and Development. She manages over 500 volunteers across 31 states in Nigeria for the group; League of Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs in Nigeria (LYPEN) with over 5,000 members. In partnership with the Barrack Obama American Corner Lagos, she is the convener of Africa's first and foremost three months fellowship for indigent teenagers especially out of school children and teenage mums in the slum areas of pako-Isolo local government called B.A.T.CH (Becoming aA Total CHild) fellowship with the whole essence to lay excellent foundation for the hopeless child and activate her dream and desire to aspire for greatness; Using education as a tool, she takes them through mentoring, class room and real life learning such as Leadership, self-development, etiquette, ICT, Emotional Intelligence , Financial literacy, etc, excursion to Universities, Hangout to fun places, Internship opportunities, Reading hub in partnership with the state government libraries and a conference tagged #SELFIE - Sustainable Education & Learning: the Future I Envisage, hosted by the American Corner V.I Lagos. She has graduated over 30 fellows. BATCH is her effort to immortalize her late dad's legacy which is to give every child the opportunity to education
